Radio stations typically have On-Air studios including a backup, Production studios and voice over booths as a part of their studio facilities.
Production studios and voice over booths have similar acoustic requirements as commercial recording studios. The On-Air studios require higher isolation on account of the fact that these studios go live.
When Radio City contacted us, they had already built 15 stations around the country. They had used various agencies, installers and manufacturers for their different projects and up to that point were facing problems of sound leakage through their doors and windows.
Since they were moving their studio facilities in Bangalore to another location, they decided to contact Sound and About for a solution for this problem.
Accordingly, Acoustic doors and windows were manufactured and installed making it the first of their studios to seize to have a sound leakage problem.
